Nail of the Day ~ Sole Mate by Essie
Ok, let me first point out {because you’ll notice} my bad polish job. It was part me, part the polish. This one seemed a little more thin and was a tad harder to get a perfect polish job. As for the polish itself, I wanted to do this post to give you all another “oxblood” color choice. Now, if you haven’t heard, “oxblood” is the color of the season. Basically, it’s a deep wine color.
When I first chose to put on this color, I thought it looked a tad more purple than it actually looks on the nails. It’s a deep red wine cream. Some nails were a little more opaque than others, even with two coats. Overall, it’s a great color to try if you’ve wanted to dive into these colors for fall.
Love this color, I just painted my nails Revlon: Vixen & I'm already obsessed & need a backup! 🙂
Awesome! I like Vixen more but wanted to give another option for the oxblood shade. I forgot I had this one. 🙂
Perfect fall color! : )
I thought of Revlon Vixen too when I first saw this!Your polish job is not bad, when I think of a bad polish job it's because it's on the cuticles, this is nothing another coat of polish wouldn't fix!Very pretty and on trend.
Well thank you but I did get it on my cuticle. Something I hardly ever do, lol. Since I mentioned Vixen in my Fall Favorite Polishes video, I wanted to give another option when I saw this. 🙂
Great color but I wish it was more opaque. I think you did a great job of painting it on. Can you do a video of how you do your nails. I have the hardest time doing my dominant hand with my non-dominant hand. Thanksirinalikes.blogspot.com
Hey I nominated you for the Liebster Award over on my blog!!! 🙂
