Nail of the Day ~ Forever Frosted by Cover Girl
Are you scratching your head about the name like I was? Yeah, it totally isn’t frosted at all. It is pretty though and I’m so glad I tried it! On a whim {like most of my shopping} I picked this up at Walmart. I noticed the Cover Girl display looked like it had more colors than I’ve seen at most stores. I picked up two new ones and thought I’d try this one first. I’d describe it as nude pink cream. Really reminds me of Essie Ballet Slippers but a tad more white. Oh and this formula, totally blows Essie out of the water on pale shades. I got away with two coats and it applied great {like all the Cover Girl polishes}. If you’re a lover of the paler nude/pink shades but hate the streaks, give this one a try!

I thought I’d compare Forever Frosted to some of my other similar shades. By far the Cover Girl has the best application and needs only two coats. Of course with any pale shade you can do three if you prefer. Like I mentioned, it’s the closest to Ballet Slippers but a tad more white. I didn’t care for the Revlon application or the paleness of the shade. The Wet n Wild is a pretty shade but the brush is WAY too big and made for sloppy application.
Do you have any of these shades? Which do you prefer? I’m always a sucker for a pale nude pink. ;)
Very light and pretty:)
I love nude nails like this all year round. Thanks for the review and pictures! Stacie xo
