Dates To Know
It’s Sephora Holiday Bonus Event time! A few times a year Sephora has a Bonus Sale Event. Depending on your level of spending with them, determines the discount amount and dates you can shop. I’m a Rouge Member, which means I spend an obscene amount there every year. {hangs head in shame} Every year I think I spend less and less but somehow still manage to get the coveted Rouge status. Which does come in handy to stock up on favorites and treat yourself to some new things now and then.
This time I’m sharing some of my personal favorites. Most things I’m good with but I do stock up on pricy items and my go-to favorites. Hair tools and expensive skincare are always top items to get with the sale.
HAIR
Olaplex Shampoo Set: I first tried this last year during the Sale and bought this exact kit. I still use it for travel and have since bought the full size to use at home. It’s great if you have dry and/or color treated hair like I do. A little goes a long way so it will actually last awhile.
Living Proof Set: This is something I can’t be without. I have a full size and a travel size. This gives AMAZING volume without weighing down my fine hair! It even works like a dry shampoo for me.
T3 Flat Iron: I just got this for my birthday recently and love it! I was in the market for a new flat iron since I’d had my GHD for several years. I loved how quickly it would heat up, but didn’t love the one temperature. The T3 has a multiple temp control and it glides through the hair really well.
T3 Trio: I’ve had this set for many years and still love it. It really does hold a curl better than anything else I’ve tried. I like that the barrels come apart for easy travel and that it has 3 sizes to choose from. I often go between the 1.25″ and 1″ depending on the look I’m going for. If you want a smooth blow out type of look, the larger barrel is perfect for that.
MAKEUP & TOOLS
Beauty Blender Cleanser Pro: Another must-have for me. I love the original solid cleanser from BB but you get more product for the price and it lasts a lot longer with the Pro. I use it on makeup brushes and the Beauty Blender.
Artis Brush: I own two of these in the #7 size. Love it for foundation! Especially applying the It Cosmetics CC Cream, which is my go-to. They are hard to get clean though in my opinion. That’s where the Cleanser above comes in handy.
Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray: This is a newer purchase for me but I’m loving it so far! I used it while on our beach vacation recently and it definitely holds my makeup in place. I find that if I set with powder well and use this spray, my makeup doesn’t budge. Comes in handy lately when wearing a mask.
Tom Ford Foundation: I spoke about this back in the summer but I’ve been using it again recently so I wanted to mention it. Mainly for the price. It’s VERY expensive but if you can get it on sale, it’s worth trying. It’s great for travel, too, because of the compact style tube and the easy application. Definitely one of my favorite foundations.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Set: I thought this was a good gift and I like that it comes with glosses as well as the iconic lipstick and liner. This lipstick shade is one of my favorites and it looks good on every skin tone.
Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow Mini: I wanted this purely for travel sake. I usually take the regular size (which I’m on my second) for the highlighter mainly but I do love the bronzer as well. It’s a great way to try it if you haven’t already.
SKINCARE
Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream: I got a sample of this a few years ago and instantly knew what all the hype was about. It’s a cult favorite for a reason. Moisturizes so well without being heavy or greasy under makeup. I’ve bought several and it lasts me about a year.
Biossance Set: I started using this brand back in January of this year. I had researched squalane and the benefits of it and bought a few pieces. I’ve since repurchased the Gel Moisturizer and the Lactic Acid, both are in this kit. I really like the Omega Moisturizer for when my skin is extra dry. This is a good kit for trying out the brand. It’s listed as a “clean brand” from Sephora, which I appreciate as well.
Lancer The Polish: I’ve also been using this for a few years now and can’t be without it. A little goes a long way so don’t let the price scare you off. I use this a few times a week when my skin is feeling a bit rough. It’s great for sensitive skin, which I have.
I could have listed a few dozen more products but didn’t want to totally overwhelm you with product links. Let me know what you’re picking up from the sale. And if you want to see what makeup and skincare are my go-to favorites, be sure to visit my Favorites Playlist on my YouTube channel.
