Hilton Head Vacation Outfits | What I Wore

Harbor Town lighthouse misscrystalblog

In this post I’m sharing what I wore on our trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina. Be sure to check out my Hilton Head Travel Guide Post for more information.

I knew this first part of the trip was going to be more casual before moving on to Palmetto Bluff. But since I hadn’t been to a beach resort in South Carolina in decades, and we were going to a more upscale resort next, I brought a mix of things and played it by ear. Overall I’d say Hilton Head is casual. You’ll see everything from golf attire to shorts and t-shirts and casual dresses. I have a video sharing what I wore the entire trip on my YouTube. I wore this lightweight sweater and shorts for a day exploring Harbor Town Lighthouse and the Sea Pines area.

I chose this maxi dress for dinner on our first night. It was so comfortable and the perfect summer dress to wear from day to night. Wearing size XS.

This Amazon maxi dress has been a viewer favorite on Instagram since I first shared it there. I’m 5’5″ and it’s perfect with flats for me. It’s a true wrap dress and I’m wearing a size S. I wore this to brunch one day and it was perfect for walking around and shopping afterwards. It also now comes in a short version. Shop that here.

This sun hat was a random find from Walmart and I love it! I also bought it in black. The Amazon swim cover up is one of my favorite finds from this year. My beach bag is from last year but I linked similar styles for you above.

This swim cover up is several years old but any oversized shirt will give you the same look. I linked a similar style above. It was perfect to wear over my swimsuit for walking on the beach.

I wore this for dinner on our last night. This striped top is a new favorite and I’ve already worn it a few times. It also comes in white. Wearing a size S.
