Calling all Brie lovers! Although, I was not that familiar with Brie or even Baked Brie when I first had this appetizers many years ago at a party. I became hooked! I know most people make their Baked Brie with puff pastry or jams, but I actually prefer this savory version. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
1 wheel brie
2 tablespoons sliced almonds (you can leave out)
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoon dry white wine
3 cloves minced garlic
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Melt butter in a saucepan on low heat and add almonds until soft. [You can leave out the almonds. I normally do.]
Add in the garlic, white wine and rosemary. How much rosemary is up to you. I just tear off about a tablespoon or so.
Sauté until warm and mixed together, about 10 minutes.
Place brie in the center of an oven proof baking dish. Pour over the top with the hot mixture. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until the inside is soft.
